About this Artist--
Miriam Morrill lives in northern California where she’s worked as a wildlife biologist, in public affairs and fire management for a number of Federal agencies. For the past 20 years she has been creating wildlife art to help support education and conservation efforts. She’s shown artwork in galleries throughout California and has a number of websites where her artwork can be viewed and or purchased. The majority of her proceeds go to support various nonprofit conservation efforts. Most of her artwork has been created in mixed medium where she utilizes layers of color to accentuate the bright and unique characteristics of the species she’s displaying. All of the species in this selection are threatened or endangered species in California.
